ED ring is one of the many industrial seals, as a pipe joint, hydraulic plug, transition joint and other pneumatic hydraulic joint seals, sealing effect than the traditional O-ring. This elastomer seal is used as an axial static seal for both the threaded oil port and the screw end, and the cross section is almost constant under high pressure.
