Product Description

Difference between coated O-ring and ordinary O-ring

 

The coated O-ring organically combines the elasticity and sealing property of rubber with the chemical resistance of PTFE. It is composed of an inner core made of silicone and fluororubber and a relatively thin FEP or PFA outer cover, with excellent sealing performance. The rubber O-ring is easy to wear and has poor chemical corrosion resistance and gas permeability. The FEP / PEA O-ring covered with it has good swelling resistance and chemical stability. The friction system of FET / PFA is very small, which makes the wear resistance of the covered ring outstanding and has excellent gas permeability resistance. These properties enable the sealing ring to be truly applied in harsh environments.
