NBR black O-ring with good wear resistance and elongation
Nitrile butadiene rubber or nitrile rubber is copolymerized by acrylonitrile and butadiene with acrylonitrile content ranging from 18% to 50%. The higher the acrylonitrile content, the better the resistance to petrochemical hydrocarbon fuel. However, the performance under low temperature will be poorer. The normal temperature range for product use is from -25 °C to 100 °C. Nitrile rubber is one of the most commonly used rubbers for oil seals and O-rings.
performance features |
It has good oil resistance, heat resistance, wear resistance, solubility resistance and high pressure resistance, but it is not suitable for solvents, such as ketones, ozone, nitrohydrocarbon |
Disadvantages | Not suitable for use in polar solvents such as ketones, nitrohydrocarbons, MEK and chloroform. It has poor weather resistance and needs to be protected from damage of ozone and ultraviolet rays. |
operating temperature | -20 °C to 140 °C. |
Main Application areas | Often used in the production of fuel tank, lubricating oil tank and in the petroleum system hydraulic oil, gasoline, silicone oil, diester lubricating oil, ethylene glycol system hydraulic oil and other fluid medium use |
